Reporting into the Head of Logistics, the Operational Support Manager will continually improve logistics functions and services within our Asset Management department. This includes establishing requirements, measuring performance, analysing data, ensuring compliance, identifying and implementing improvements and liaison with central functions and stores.

This is an agile working role with a requirement to be in our London office (Canning Town) 3 days per week, with travel to various depots across the UK on occasion.

What you’ll do:

  • Own continuous improvement of AM Logistics by identifying improvement initiatives and presenting business cases and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Own the relationship between Asset Management and Central Fleet to ensure the fleet service is aligned to business requirements and performing to agreed performance levels.
  • Own Business Continuity and Site Security across Asset Management ensuring documentation is relevant and adherence to policies is met.
  • Track, manage and prioritise operational issues and improvements.
  • Create and manage dashboards to measure performance including costs.
  • Comply with current Health and Safety legislation and ensure compliance when driving through change projects.

Who you are:

You will have experience in a senior level role, working on operational projects in logistics, fleet and stores. You will have good business acumen, along with excellent financial experience and presentation skills.

  • Process driven problem solver with good analytical skills
  • Financially astute, strategic thinker, keen attention to detail
  • Innovative in identifying solutions for efficiency improvements.
  • Experience of audits and compliance
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Able to handle large volumes of data from a variety of sources.
