Marketing Campaign Lead

We are looking for a vivacious Marketing Campaign Lead to join our E.ON Next team. As Marketing Campaign Lead, you’ll be reporting into the Brand and Marketing Manager, supporting E.ON Next and Sainsbury’s Energy brands commercial and brand KPIs through end to end campaign ownership. From data-led planning, working with in-house creative to produce assets and collaborating with in-house media owners to set and optimise campaigns, you’ll have full autonomy of through-the-line Marketing campaigns.

You’ll play a vital role in establishing a young brand with big ambitions, by creating positive disruption in the energy market. Creative excellence is your motto – you’ll keep a close eye on the competitive landscape, determine Marketing priorities by immersing yourself in the business, develop marketing strategy and steer implementation through hands-on creative and media collaboration. You seek and leverage data like a pro and are fluent in project management. Your campaign focus will span from CRM, content to TVC production.

In short, you’ll join a team establishing a sustainable challenger brand in its first year of launch, helping shape its creative and strategic articulation. If you have previous Marketing or Agency account management experience and looking for a career to feel-good about, this role is for you!

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Experienced business acumen and stakeholder management

  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • Marketing planning experience, with ability to translate business objective into Marketing KPI, Communications mapping and media metrics

  • Lead relevant insights initiatives such as customer research

  • Media and creative brief-writing

  • Plan and fulfil TTL campaigns

  • Build and deploy CRM email through Blueshift

  • Develop and implement organic social content calendar, using Hootsuite for social listening and scheduling

  • Ability to read and fulfil media plans, with experience working with media agency

  • Actively steer creative and media output

  • Strong project management including timing plans writing

  • Well-versed in campaign PCA and reporting, leveraging data to gain insight for optimisation

  • Management of some external suppliers

  • Supporting Marketing integration across disciplines through timely information sharing and alignment

  • Ongoing competitive research and cross-platform best practice knowledge

We’re looking a candidate with the following experience and skills

  • Marketing fundamentals experience

  • Passion for brand storytelling

  • Through-the-line experience is a must

  • Demonstrated interest for the energy and sustainability categories

  • Proven campaign development experience either in-house or agency

  • Demonstrated experience analysing data into insights/trends

  • Efficient time management, ownership and accountability to deliver results in the face of changing priorities and time pressure

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Fluent in GDPR compliance and ASA regulations

  • Inquisitive and proactive

  • Team player

  • Comfortable with autonomy and spotting opportunities unprompted

  • Interest in learning new tools and softwares

  • Keen to go beyond the brief, question output and look for ways to optimise ongoing

  • Ability to handle stakeholders of all seniority

  • Drive to create content that will impact our business transformation

  • Agency account management is a bonus

  • Knowledge of Hootsuite and Blueshift is a plus
