What you’ll be doing
The Identity & Access Management Specialist is a domain expert and technically equipped for implementing and running a robust end-to-end Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability across the application estate and supporting systems to protect the availability, confidentiality and integrity of Bupa UK staff, Customers and Partners with access to Bupa systems.
This role is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate security tools, data, processes and people are in place and operating as required to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover the applications and information assets across the Bupa estate.
You will be a key member of the Information Security Management Team and will report directly into the Identity & Access Manager.
What’s a typical day?
You will be the domain and technical expert in all matters pertaining to the deployment and effective running of the Identity & Access Management capabilities for the UK market unit. You’ll identify and select security tools and services as required to deliver a robust, fit for purpose, secure Identity & Access Management capabilities to support and protect the UKMU business operations.
As Identity & Access Management Specialist you will develop and deploy effective processes for Provisioning and De-provisioning access for the Applications and supporting systems in line with Bupa Enterprise Security Policy and Standards.
You’ll be involved in recertification works, project work – around new tools, privileged access management and will contribute to the development and implementation of security governance in IT, ensuring Identity & Access Management principles are applied during design and into business as usual processes to reduce risk, drive adoption and adherence to policies, standards and guidelines.
Who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for a self-starter with a proven track record of working in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
Exposure to large, complex organisations would be beneficial but not essential, as would experience working in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud would be highly beneficial, as would a proven track record of working with Active Directory – particularly within the security sphere.
Qualifications and technical experience that are desirable include – CISSP, CISM, working knowledge of GDPR, knowledge of auditing standards, exposure to ISO 27001, PCI compliance and SSCP as well as Azure security engineer
