Right now, we’re looking for a caring and organised individual to join us as an Administrator at The Springs home in Malvern to help us be the positive difference to our resident’s lives.

Working hours and salary
£16,016 per annum
9am – 4pm
4 days – 28 hours per week (Between Monday – Friday)
What your typical day involves
  • Processing income and expenditure including banking, purchase order invoicing, petty cash management, payroll and basic credit control
  • Safeguarding monies on behalf of residents, but also funds raised by the home
  • Providing clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos and local management reporting
  • Maintaining a well-ordered filing system, stationary replenishment and personnel file management
Who we’re looking for

You’ve worked as an Administrator before with experience in providing excellent customer service, you’ll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable and organised and have the ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families and internal teams. Dedicated and efficient with an ability to handle a varied workload, but importantly, your caring attitude underpins everything you do – to make a real difference to people’s lives.

Outside Chelmsford, in Great Dunmow, Croft House sits next to Dunmow Park and is accessible by car or via the 42a bus route from Chelmsford train station. The home provides residential and nursing care for permanent accommodation or short stays for respite or recovery. With a real family feel, the team are passionate about providing person centred care, championing dignity and independence – organising a wide variety of activities meaning there’s no typical day here. With multiple training courses offered, you’re supported from day one to learn, develop and encouraged to progress.
