Director of Consultancy
Must have ability to secure DV Clearance
Your role is wide-ranging, requiring a combination of commercial acumen and strategic client engagement skills. Credibility, both internal and external, is critical to the success of the role therefore demonstrable experience (and success) in comparable roles, ideally within the Learning sector (highly desirable). You will have a strong commercial focus and you will be accountable for the performance of the consultancy team in line with agreed business targets. You will operate at a strategic level, influencing cross functional activities and creating links with the wider business and strategic partners.
Skills & Experience:
Experience of HMG programmes or Commercial delivery to commerce (Both would be very advantageous)
Lead, manage and inspire the consultancy team.
Experience of setting strategic direction for a consultancy team, defining strategy and directing/supporting its implementation.
Accountable for growing the commercial performance of a consultancy team including ownership of the pipeline and reporting against agreed KPIs.
Accountable for successful delivery of bespoke, innovative and technology-focused learning solutions
Monitor consultancy workload to ensure resources are prioritised appropriately and deployed for optimum effect
Provide a point of escalation for all consultancy activities, where strategic intervention is required
Accountable for the quality of consultancy outputs and deliverables (e.g. proposals)
Drive consistency by bench-marking consultancy performance against internal and external standards to drive continuous improvement
Drive key value propositions as part of the future strategy for the contract
