What will you be doing?

Insight and Analysis –
  • Maintaining and refining existing performance-critical reports, creating new reports and exploring additional avenues for analysis
  • Collating relevant insights and using them to inform recommendations for future content campaigns and Organic Performance Team strategy
  • Conducting regular audits of MoneySuperMarket and competitor backlink profiles
  • Analysing competitor content campaigns to identify threats and opportunities for MoneySuperMarket
  • Assessing potential risk of links to the MoneySuperMarket domain as part of weekly disavow process
  • Measuring and reporting on campaign success, and sharing insights with the wider business
  • Utilising a broad range of tools such as Data Studio, Kerboo, Screaming Frog & Google Analytics
Campaign Creation and Promotion –
  • Helping to ideate new and innovative content campaigns
  • Gathering first and third-party data and exploring statistical trends for use in content campaigns
  • Writing structured content for campaign landing pages, in line with MoneySuperMarket brand guidelines
  • Reviewing and signing off potential sites for campaign outreach
  • Briefing content and creative teams to deliver written and visual assets
  • Assisting with the management of external agencies to ensure delivery on KPIs
  • Building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders within marketing teams, including Brand, Data, PR, Content, Social, CRM, and PPC
  • Promoting content campaigns to external sites and driving links to the MoneySuperMarket domain
  • Understanding campaign objectives/KPIs and measuring effectively to ensure they are delivered
  • Ensuring all activity is compliant with search engine guidelines and marketing best practice
Team –
  • Keeping up to date with relevant SEO trends and sharing knowledge with the Organic Performance Team
  • Working closely with Senior Digital Campaign Strategist and Digital Campaign Lead to outline projects and formulate strategy
  • Representing the team in Organic Performance Team, marketing and company meetings
  • Helping to inform and educate the business on Organic Performance strategy and important initiatives

What do you need to excel in this role?

  • Degree level education
  • At least 1 years’ experience in an search marketing specific role
  • Intermediate level knowledge of SEO with specific emphasis on off-page best practice
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data analysis, auditing and producing reports
  • Strong written skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders
  • Proven record in working as part of a team and as an individual
  • Familiarity with wider marketing disciplines and how they impact organic search
  • Project management skills and the ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven track record of working to deadlines and time management skills
  • Clear passion for digital marketing
  • Some understanding of web programming languages/technologies including HTML
