This role will suit someone who is looking to start out in their career within media sales and have a passion for advertising.

So in simple terms, what will you be doing in the role as an Account Executive – We’re glad you asked!

Within this role you will work closely with your Account Manager and Group Head to essentially secure digital advertising revenue across our sites such as Mirror, Express, Star. It will be your role to build relationships with key agency contacts to pitch advertising solutions to secure brand advertising spend across our sites and online titles.

This is an entry-level position so we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, confident within a sales environment and someone who has the buzz for advertising.

The role will be based at home with a link to our London hub based in Canary wharf so will be a mix of mainly home working with some office-based approach to working.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, you will submerge yourself fully in the daily requirements needed to support your appointed Account Manager in driving digital advertising revenues across aspects of the Reach portfolio including:

  • Liaising and build your own individual relationships with media agencies throughout your agency patch, allowing you to gain advertising budgets and repeat bookings within our digital sites.
  • Attend weekly meetings where you will discuss planned campaigns updated and future campaign opportunities within your division.
  • You will live and breathe advertising trends allowing you to think ahead of the game to beat your competitors to that next lucrative opportunity.
  • This is a fast-paced, but an exciting role which will offer you a genuine opportunity to carve yourself a career within the advertising world!
