What you’ll be doing

You will be a competent IT user who is able to help support the ongoing training of all staff grades in the use of medical information systems, which affect their work within the Bupa Cromwell Hospital. The main duties of the job will be to ensure the effective training of all staff involved with potential new application roll-outs and IT Project Deliveries. You’ll deliver training to end users in the organisation about how to use many key software programmes efficiently and effectively in support of business objectives and to troubleshoot applications and software issues for internal customers within core working hours.

What’s a typical day?

A typical day will be to design, develop, and deliver software applications training programmes and individual classes and present instructor-led training sessions and some virtual sessions. You will get trained on the different Bupa applications but Communicare version 7 experience is ideal.

You will develop and deliver new courses for new and existing software applications, including all course materials, exercises, and skills evaluations include the use of e-Learning module development and you’ll help review training materials and documentation and keep them up to date.

You will be required to create and communicate training schedules in consultation with departmental decision makers and establish and maintain a database to track training participants’ status and results (may work in collaboration with HR on this).

You’ll be needed to support new users in their working environment as required and keep apprised of software changes and upcoming developments.

As well as the above, you will communicate software problems and issues to software development and support teams and make sure you stay up to date with developments in both commercial and custom-built software products used in the organisation.

Who we’re looking for?

* Sound I.T. skills – benefit if any software experience in Communicare

* Ability to train – you will be training a handful of our ‘superusers’ in different applications.

* Understanding basic Medical Terminologies

* Report writing – accuracy and taking data quality seriously.

* Good understanding of (Hospital Management System)

* Good understanding of Business processes

* Documentation maintenance – ensuring all our training documents are up to date

* Effective communicator at all levels

* Excellent organisational skills

* Attention to detail
