Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager, the Maintenance Administrator will ensure contract KPI’s are met in an efficient and safe manner within our Highways division. This is an agile working role, with ad hoc travel on occasion to our sites across England.

What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with Team Leaders/members to co-ordinate work and to pass on faults received from the Client, National Highways and Stakeholders
  • Responsible for fault co-ordination, tracking routine maintenance progress and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Produce administrative documents as required by the Service Delivery Manager such as Excel spreadsheets work trackers, monthly collation of faults and maintenance attended etc.
  • Dealing with and resolving contractual issues in an effective manner.
  • Liaising directly with the Client and work collaboratively with Stakeholders.

Who you are:

You will have previous experience in a fast paced administrative role, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will have excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, along with strong communication skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Organisational skills for scheduling maintenance tasks and ensuring job completion, even during emergencies.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site problems do not become major site problems.
  • The ability to respond to data and information requests e.g. provide data for monthly report in a timely manner.
  • Good verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to translate complex information.
  • Full driving license
