What you’ll be doing…
As the Actuarial Pricing Consultant, you will enjoy a diverse role in a high-calibre team. A key aspect of the role will be using your technical knowledge to support pricing for Bupa’s global products. Indeed, your analysis will be critical for recommendations regarding pricing strategy across Bupa.
Passionate about personal development, you will gain significant exposure to senior management; developing your skills & experience in your actuarial career.
What’s a typical day?
- Delivering performance analysis of Bupa’s existing products (insurance)
- Recommending pricing actions, based on trend analysis
- Pricing support for the development of Bupa’s new products
- Project support: Competitor pricing, Customer decision-making, Profitability
- Statistical modelling to provide pricing insights
- Business partner with Sales, Finance & Customer Insights teams
Who we’re looking for?
- Part-qualified Actuary (4 to 9 exams passed, FIA/FFA qualification)
- Pricing experience – General Insurance or Health Insurance
- Generalised Linear Modelling (GLM) or machine-learning
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced PC skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- SAS, R, Emblem and Radar – advantageous
