SALARY:
Touchstone Pay Structure (2024) points* 23-25 starting at £34,036.66 pa/pro rata.
*Any increase in pay point(s) will be reviewed on annual basis based on the financial position of Touchstone and will only be awarded on this basis. Your pay/pay point will not automatically increase.

HOURS:
28 hours per week averaged over a month, working 4 nights on, 4 nights off pattern, 10:00pm – 6:00am.

This role is fixed term up to 31 March 2028, with a possibility for extension.

The role will require working 10:00pm – 6:00am on a rolling 4 nights on, 4 nights off pattern (including weekends and bank holidays), plus working 2 admin hours flexibly throughout the week.

As Here For You Wakefield expands towards a 24/7 crisis support model, this role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering overnight service in Wakefield. You will play a vital role in ensuring people can access urgent non-clinical support during the night, when many services are unavailable. The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year alongside emergency services, primary care, statutory services and other third sector community services to provide the most appropriate support for individuals away from A&E and section 136 suites wherever possible.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and values-driven individuals with significant experience of supporting people experiencing emotional distress, including those at risk of suicide or self-harm, and a commitment to providing accessible and culturally responsive support to people from diverse communities, including Black and Minority Ethnic and LGBTQ+ communities when they need it the most. Every conversation has the potential to reduce harm, restore hope and create a positive turning point in someone’s journey.
