You will play a pivotal role in representing the Agency at Magistrates’ Court(s) as a Prosecutor for vehicle tax and insurance related offences. We will look to you to engage with customers to educate and encourage compliance for these offences. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a role which is varied, where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage vehicle enforcement cases at the prosecution stage.
- Verify facts and documents on DVLA systems to support decisions on whether to proceed to court.
- Communicate with customers through written correspondence, telephone calls and in person.
- Educate customers to ensure future compliance.

About you
You will bring experience of working in an enforcement or legal environment, meaning you are familiar with the processes and standards required when managing cases at the prosecution stage.
We are looking for someone who loves to work autonomously and is comfortable working alone and using their own initiative. You are able to work in an organised and methodical manner and can effectively manage your own time to meet your day to day responsibilities.
You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with suppliers and enforcement agencies alike and build positive working relationships. You will be engaging and assertive, have the ability to express yourself in a clear and constructive manner, delivering the right messages and conducting challenging conversations when necessary.
