Health and Safety Trainer
Location: Covering our care home & retirement villages in the North
Permanent: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £34,000

Role Overview

To deliver effective health & safety training across our Bupa Care Homes and Retirement Villages, as directed, to support them to maintain mandatory training compliance.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver the health & safety training requirements for staff within the home/Portfolio Village against required performance standards. This will include, but is not limited to:
    • A suite of Fire Safety training
    • People Moving and Handling training
    • First Aid and Basic Life Support training
  • Deliver training and facilitate learning using a range of training methods to motivate and meet the needs of different learning styles.
  • Maintaining effective administration within the learning management system (Grow) for all end-to-end processes
  • Actively participate in project work
  • Work with homes and villages to identify and upskill colleagues

What you’ll bring:

  • Effective communication and appropriately in written, oral and non-verbal form, structuring and presenting information clearly and effectively
  • Full UK driving licence as national travel is required.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous learning facilitation experience or healthcare experience
  • Customer focused, self-motivated and able to identify and engage with key stake holders.
